Personal Assistants Needed for Gaming-Interested Boy Outside Karlstad

ABOUT THE JOB We are seeking personal assistants for a 12-year-old boy living just outside Karlstad. The boy has extensive care needs and assistance is provided with double staffing 24/7. He uses a Permobil and has his own speech. In his everyday life, he enjoys e-sports, technology, and gaming, which can ideally be a shared interest with you as an assistant. He attends an adapted school where you as an assistant accompany him. The work involves supporting him in all aspects of daily life, including personal care, communication, leisure activities, and medical procedures. Experience with tracheostomy and PEG is a merit, but not a requirement. The most important thing is that the personal chemistry works. The workplace is located outside Karlstad with limited public transportation connections, which means a driver's license and access to a car are requirements. WORK HOURS AND EMPLOYMENT LEVEL Work shifts are scheduled as follows: Weekdays: 07:00–15:00, 15:00–22:00, 22:00–07:00 (awake night) Weekends: 07:00–19:00, 19:00–07:00 (awake night) We are seeking several assistants with varying employment levels, from as-needed extra shifts to fixed schedules at approximately 50-80%. SALARY As an assistant at Vivida, you receive a fixed hourly base salary plus vacation pay and any shift differentials. Collective agreements apply.
