FACULTY OF ENGINEERING ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT, Institute of Economics and Entrepreneurship
One (1) ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR position (0.5 full-time equivalent) – Social Sciences, Economics and Entrepreneurship field, Business Management specialization
Requirements:
Ph.D. degree;
Excellent knowledge of Latvian language and knowledge of English/German at least at B2 level (according to Common European Framework of Reference) for conference attendance and direct work duties;
Within the last six years, at least four scientific publications corresponding to the field must have been published in internationally indexed citation databases Scopus and/or Web of Science, with RTU indicated as the author's institutional affiliation;
Participation in at least four international scientific conferences within the last six years;
Participation in at least two research projects within the last six years;
Participation in scientific organizations and associations;
Other requirements as specified in RTU regulations.
Candidates wishing to participate in the competition must submit electronically (signed with a secure electronic signature) to the Human and Organizational Development Department of Riga Technical University at e-mail ([email protected]):
an application addressed to the Rector regarding participation in the competition;
a curriculum vitae indicating scientific, pedagogical, organizational work experience and a list of published works from the last 6 years (it is recommended to attach the list of published works as a separate appendix), as well as other documents that the candidate wishes to attach to the application to more fully characterize their qualifications;
copies of documents confirming scientific/academic degrees or higher education and, if necessary, other documents specified in regulatory acts (for example, documents confirming the level of proficiency in the state language, etc.), presenting their originals if the candidate is participating in the competition for RTU employment for the first time and has not previously submitted these document copies to the Human and Organizational Development Department;
a summary of student evaluation results for study courses implemented over the previous 6 years.

The competition deadline is one month from the date of publication of the announcement on the State Employment Agency website and in the National Research Activities Information System.
