Doctor's Assistant at the "Mucenieki" Detention Center for Foreign Nationals Requirements for candidates: Level I professional higher education (qualification – doctor's assistant) or professional secondary education (qualification – paramedic) and a certificate/license to practice as a doctor's assistant, valid Outpatient Service Doctor's Assistant, Doctor's Assistant, or Emergency Medicine Doctor's Assistant certificate, registration in the Medical Practitioners Registry; Work experience in the medical field of at least 1 year; Ability to use computer programs (MS Office products, email and internet browsers); Good knowledge of Russian language and desirable English language knowledge at least at A2 level (for communication with center residents). Main job responsibilities: Organize and conduct general examinations of foreign nationals accommodated in the center and prescribe necessary tests, taking into account their health status and symptoms, conduct surveys of accommodated foreign nationals (medical history, complaints), medical prophylaxis and ensure completion and review of available medical documentation; Ensure compliance with procedures for procurement, storage, use, accounting and disposal of medications; Ensure placement of accommodated foreign nationals in a specially equipped area for medical observation until necessary health checks or specialist opinions are received; When necessary, ensure referral of accommodated foreign nationals to specialist consultations, in cooperation with a doctor determine diagnosis and treatment for patients, monitor patient medication compliance; Educate accommodated foreign nationals on matters related to health promotion and compliance with hygiene standards; Develop an anti-epidemic measures plan; Ensure quality control of food preparation for accommodated foreign nationals.
