Medical Assistant / Paramedic

Madona Regional Municipality Varakļāni Association Administration (Reg. No. 40900041612) invites applications for a Medical Assistant/Paramedic (profession code 2240 01) to work at the Murmastiene Paramedic Station, Jaunatnes Street 14, Murmastiene, Madona Municipality. Requirements for candidates: - Professional secondary education or first-level professional higher medical education; - Registration in the Medical Practitioners Register; - Professional experience of at least one year in the position of medical assistant; - Medical assistant specialist certificate; - Latvian language proficiency at C level 1st degree; - Good communication skills; - Ability to work both as part of a team and independently; - High sense of responsibility, accuracy, analytical thinking, ability to work under high-intensity conditions; - Quality preparation of medical documentation in accordance with requirements. Main responsibilities: - Provide emergency medical assistance to patients (injured) in accordance with protocols within the scope of professional activities; - Perform professional and individualized diagnosis and treatment of common diseases according to competence, independently use and prescribe medications in accordance with the regulatory acts of the Republic of Latvia; - Ensure preventive measures in cooperation with a physician; - Work as part of a team with a physician, ensuring continuous medical assistance to patients at primary and secondary health care levels, be accountable for the results of professional activities in medical care; - Plan, organize, and manage own work, be able to find solutions in situations with unpredictable changes; - Maintain and improve professional qualifications; - Use modern technologies and digital tools in work; - Comply with the principles of medical ethics and bioethics in work. We offer: - Stable salary: EUR 1189.00; - Full-time employment (40 h per week); - Training for professional qualification improvement; - Social guarantees: - Annual paid vacation – 28 calendar days; - Additional vacation according to evaluation results up to 7 working days; - Vacation allowance up to 35 percent of monthly salary once per calendar year, according to evaluation, using annual paid vacation.
