Doctor's Assistant at the "Mucenieki" Foreign National Detention Center Requirements for candidates: Level I professional higher education (qualification – doctor's assistant) or professional secondary education (qualification – paramedic) and a certificate/license to practice as a doctor's assistant, valid Outpatient Service Doctor's Assistant, Doctor's Assistant, or Emergency Medicine Doctor's Assistant certificate, registration in the Medical Persons Register; at least 1 year of experience working in the medical field; ability to use computer programs (MS Office products, email and internet browsers); good knowledge of Russian and desired knowledge of English at least at A2 level (for communication with center residents). Main job responsibilities: organize and conduct general examinations of foreign nationals accommodated in the center and order necessary tests, taking into account their health status and disease symptoms, conduct interviews (medical history, complaints), medical prevention, and ensure completion and review of available medical documentation; ensure compliance with procedures for procurement, storage, use, accounting, and disposal of medications; ensure placement of foreign nationals accommodated in the center in a specially equipped area for medical observation until necessary health checks or specialist assessments are received; when necessary, ensure referral of foreign nationals accommodated in the center to specialist consultations, in collaboration with a doctor determine diagnoses and treatment for patients, monitor patients' use of prescribed medications; educate foreign nationals accommodated in the center on matters related to health promotion and hygiene standards; develop an epidemic prevention plan; ensure quality control of food preparation provided for foreign nationals accommodated in the center. We offer: monthly salary of 1579 EUR before taxes; special supplement up to 7% of monthly salary (amount depends on evaluation); interesting and responsible work; opportunity to develop and expand professional knowledge; annual paid vacation, additional vacation days, vacation compensation, and social benefits; health insurance (after 6 months of employment); compensation for special medical optical vision correction aids up to 150 EUR.
