Arla Foods seeks Process Operator for Vimmerby Dairy

To our dairy in Vimmerby, we are seeking process operators. In the role as process operator, you will work with receiving and treatment of milk, evaporation as well as drying of milk with associated work tasks. All production equipment is controlled by modern process systems. You will be part of independent teams and report to the Team Lead Process. Working hours are continuous five-shift. Some of the most important work tasks are: • Monitoring and handling of machinery and process equipment from start to stop. • Actively participate in improvement work. • Perform established analyses. • Report and document production and product data in our systems. • Perform hygiene/cleaning work according to applicable requirements and instructions. The operations at our dairy place high demands on routines and hygiene requirements being followed in accordance with applicable laws and directives from authorities. Education, experience and personal qualities You ideally have post-secondary education with a focus on process technology/automation and several years of experience working with production equipment (including control systems) and process optimization, preferably within dairy technology or food production. The operation is fully automatic which requires good knowledge, feeling and understanding of automatic processes. Experience with evaporation, drying and automatic processes within the food industry is advantageous. You have approved grades in Swedish, English and mathematics. As a person you are responsible and thorough with the ability to plan and in cooperation with others make quick decisions when production changes. You have the ability to create good relationships both internally and externally and enjoy both collaborating with your colleagues and independently tackling work tasks. To thrive in the role as process operator, you also need the willingness to continuously develop and enjoy working in shifts.
