About the Position We at Perido are seeking an archives consultant for our client, a government agency with an important public mission. You will work from our office located in Stockholm. Your Responsibilities As an archives consultant, you will work alongside colleagues to prepare, structure, and quality-assure a comprehensive archive in preparation for a move. The role involves both practical and administrative archival work with a focus on ensuring that the archival collection is correctly organized, documented, and preserved in accordance with applicable requirements. Key tasks: Inventory and map archival holdings in preparation for the move. Organize, catalog, and register archival documents in the archival system. Label and remediate deficiencies in archival materials, such as replacing archive boxes and file folders. Investigate and carry out archival disposal as needed. Assist with packing, moving, and arranging archival holdings. Your Qualities To thrive in this role, you are meticulous, well-organized, and quality-conscious with an eye for detail. Qualifications: Academic degree in archival science with a minimum of 60 credits Experience cataloging according to the general archival scheme Strong knowledge of the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act Ability to communicate fluently in speech and writing Meritorious: Experience moving archival collections Scope and Start Date Full-time, consulting assignment through April 15, 2027.
