JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As an archive assistant, you will work with practical archival tasks, such as organizing and cataloging work, sorting, inventory, records disposal, and digitizing documents. You will also handle various types of requests and help internal and external contacts find information and gain access to public records in accordance with applicable legislation.
The work encompasses both physical and digital records and aims to ensure that information is preserved, structured, and retrievable both today and in the future.
In this role, you will handle confidential and personal data. It is therefore important that you feel comfortable handling information that requires great accuracy and a responsible approach.
The work includes recurring tasks and practical activities related to handling and moving archival materials.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a completed upper secondary education. You have strong knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good digital skills and an ability to quickly learn and understand different systems.
It is advantageous if you have:
• post-secondary education in archival science, information management, or similar
• fundamental knowledge of relevant legislation for the public sector
• practical experience in archival work
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Start date: According to agreement, End date: 2027-03-31.
