About the Workplace
Helsingborg City as an employer has approximately 10,000 employees and 470 managers. The City Administration Office is one of nine departments and is led by our Deputy City Director. To fulfill our mission, we are organized into seven different divisions. Our department has an important and exciting mission where we are here for others - for colleagues, other departments, Helsingborg residents, and businesses, to name a few. The City Administration Office shall:
- Lead, develop, and coordinate the city's activities within overarching and common areas,
- Offer services and products requested by the City Council, departments, and companies, including common functions that serve Helsingborg residents directly,
- In cooperation with external parties, create conditions for positive development of Helsingborg.
The position is located at Helsingborg City Archives but the focus and assignment are directed toward our own department, the City Administration Office. At Helsingborg City Archives, 14 people work to preserve the information that will become tomorrow's history. We are in an intensive development period where, among other things, e-archive management is facing expansion.
Job Responsibilities
The City Administration Office seeks an engaged archive-responsible archivist with responsibility for developing internal work at the department. The position is combined with an assignment as a data protection coordinator. The role is both strategic and operational, and you will work closely with colleagues in the department.
As an archive-responsible archivist and data protection coordinator, you will provide professional support in archive and information management matters and have in-depth collaboration with the department's lawyers and other data protection coordinators. The assignment includes, for example, work with information management plans, process mapping, and providing practical advice and support on data protection matters. You will also propose improvements to keep operations at the forefront and ensure that public records are handled correctly and that legal requirements are met. Collaboration skills are important as the role will involve close cooperation with the units.
What We Offer
We offer you a varied, responsible, and stimulating job with opportunities for personal development. The workplace is smoke-free and health-conscious. As an employee, you receive a wellness allowance of 3,000 kronor per year. We have flexible working hours, some reduction in working time, and it is possible to exchange holiday pay supplements for more days off. Your main workplace is located in central Helsingborg, just a short walk from Helsingborg Central Station.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with an academic degree with at least 60 credits in archive and information science. The position requires that you have good knowledge of laws and regulations regarding information management in public administration and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
We would like you to have a few years of experience in the field as well as education and experience in data protection matters, information security, or e-archives. Experience working with process-based information disclosure is also meritorious.
