About the job
The archives function is located within IVO's Operations Support department and consists of four archivists. IVO recently transitioned from analog to digital archiving, in which the archivists played a central role. As an archivist at the agency, you will participate in the ongoing work to further develop and improve the agency's digital information management. Much of the work takes place in close collaboration with other functions within the agency, such as records management, legal experts, digitalization, and information security coordinators. We are now seeking to strengthen the archives function.
Requirements Profile
We are looking for someone who has:
academic education equivalent to at least 60hp/40p in archival science
experience working as an archivist in the public sector
good knowledge of the laws and regulations governing the public administration, especially archives and public disclosure legislation and the National Archives' regulations
well-developed communication skills and good knowledge of Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
It is a merit if you have experience with:
investigative work in information management
developing procedures for records disposal and submissions to the National Archives
activity-based archive reporting documents
the case management system Public 360
work as an archivist in the state sector
digital preservation
delivering presentations and training within your field of work.

Workplace Description
The records unit consists of four teams that work closely together and are jointly responsible for handling incoming documents in accordance with the requirements and regulations applicable to a state agency. An important part of the assignment is also to ensure that documents are released to the public in a correct manner.
