About the job
The Swedish Tax Agency works with a wide range of activities and therefore has a fascinating archive structure with complex dependencies on various regulations. You will work to develop the Swedish Tax Agency's information management by developing internal governance, for example through document management plans. You review that information management is correct according to applicable laws, ordinances, regulations and internal governance documents, and provide support for measures when needed. You perform information assessments, set requirements for the development of system support and working methods, and participate in competency-building initiatives. The Swedish Tax Agency's information is almost exclusively electronic today, but we still manage many archives on analog data carriers.
You will work together with other specialists in archiving and registry services to ensure that the Swedish Tax Agency's information management is transparent, long-term and cost-effective. You conduct disposal investigations in cooperation with representatives from operations and IT. You also have contacts with the National Archives (Riksarkivet) and our Legal Department.
At the same time, you will provide consultative support to the work at our central archive regarding documents on analog data carriers and older archive structures, which is why you must be able to understand how the organization has functioned historically. You are expected to be able to make confidentiality assessments in complex disclosure matters. You will work with change management and serve as an ambassador for modern information management throughout the organization. You see opportunities to develop working methods and processes and turn ideas into solutions that create value for the organization. You also drive matters forward with persistence and engagement, even when the work is complex and requires long-term perspective.
You belong to Document Governance Section 1, which together with Document Governance Section 2 is responsible for administrative governance and support within information management at the Swedish Tax Agency. In our section, there are 13 colleagues at six offices. You will be placed at one of the locations where the document unit conducts its operations. Possible placement locations are specified under Good to know.
