The Unit for Rehabilitation and Welfare Technology is part of municipal primary care and consists of an engaged team with broad expertise in occupational therapy, physical therapy, assistive devices, and welfare technology. Job Duties
We are now seeking an occupational therapist for a temporary position while an employee is on educational leave. The temporary position is for 6 months, with potential for extension.
The role includes:
Rehabilitative and preventive interventions in both ordinary and special housing
Independent occupational therapy assessments and interventions in the individual's home, sometimes in complex situations
Guidance, training, and support to relatives and staff
Close teamwork with a physical therapist
Collaboration with MAR, nurses, nursing assistants, benefits officers, unit managers, and other internal and external stakeholders
You work independently but always with a competent team behind you. The work is characterized by freedom with responsibility and facilitated by our flexible working hours agreement.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is:
- A licensed occupational therapist
- Holder of a category B driver's license with manual transmission (required)
- Independent, structured, and confident in your professional role
- Confident in making your own assessments and decisions in complex situations
- Responsive, empathetic, and good at collaboration
- Flexible, stable, and engaged in developing both yourself and the operation
- Personal suitability is given great weight
