Tollarp Health Center, Degeberga branch, are health centers located in the countryside, next to forests and open fields, and we have approximately 8,100 registered patients. Both locations have a strong community spirit and high confidence in the health center. Here we offer care for both somatic and mental health issues and work on developing new approaches with team-based care. We have five nursing homes connected to us as well as home care services in two areas.
The medical team consists of general practitioners and training physicians. In addition to medical consultations, we offer physiotherapy, counseling, dietetics, psychology, and occupational therapy, nursing assistants, and nurse-led specialist clinics in asthma/COPD, diabetes, elderly care, child health (BVC), and health conversations. Our blood draw unit is staffed by experienced nursing assistants, and in daily operations, medical secretaries, receptionists, and an administrator provide important support.
We are constantly developing, and our focus is on further developing teamwork. We strive to offer patients interdisciplinary assessments from professionals such as physiotherapists, psychologists, counselors, and occupational therapists based on their needs. We actively work to fully utilize everyone's expertise. Through this, we can together provide the best care and use our resources optimally when the patient gets to meet the right person directly.

DUTIES
As an occupational therapist at Tollarp Health Center with Degeberga branch, you have varied work tasks including clinic visits, home visits, and group treatments where you meet patients of all ages. You often work independently while maintaining close collaboration with other professional categories. The occupational therapist is an important part of the team at the health center and contributes, among other things, with support regarding activity balance, structure in daily life, health promotion initiatives, and hand rehabilitation.
With us, you are the first point of contact for diagnosing and treating injuries to the hand, forearm, and elbow. You also work with rehabilitation, cognitive assessments, activity assessments, and patients with chronic pain and stress-related issues. Your tasks also include assistive device prescriptions and home visits planned based on patients' needs.
Duties may be conducted at both Tollarp and Degeberga, and we also work closely with other health centers in Kristianstad.

QUALIFICATIONS
You are a licensed occupational therapist with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language skills at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale are required. As work-related travel occurs, a valid Class B driver's license is required. We value experience from primary care and see it as an asset for the position.
As a person, you are service-oriented and your work is characterized by patient focus. We value that you have high social competence and good communication skills. You thrive working independently while also being good at collaborating with others. Furthermore, you are attentive and driven to provide good and quality care.
