Here, employees from several professions work together to provide care to approximately 9,300 registered patients. At the health center, we work in interprofessional teams where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and patient needs are the focus. You will work closely with your occupational therapy colleague at Vårdcentralen Delfinen, and together you will plan and develop the work within the operation. Within our area, the units work closely together to leverage expertise, strengthen continuity, and create a safe and sustainable work environment. WORK TASKS As an occupational therapist with us, you have a broad and varied assignment including clinic visits, home visits, and group interventions. You meet patients of different ages and work independently while maintaining close collaboration with other professions at the health center. You contribute your expertise to increase individuals' independence and participation in daily activities. You are the first point of contact for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of injuries to the hand, forearm, and elbow, and you are responsible for fitting and manufacturing orthotics. Your tasks also include activity and functional assessments, rehabilitation, assistive device prescriptions, and participation in cognitive evaluations. Counseling is a central part of the work, both through individual patient contacts and through educational initiatives for various patient groups. You also work with patients who have chronic pain or stress-related issues, and there is an opportunity to work with health-oriented conversations. Home visits and follow-ups are planned based on patients' needs. QUALIFICATIONS We believe that to thrive and succeed in this role, you have a genuine interest in primary care and are comfortable in a role where you can combine independent work with close collaboration with other professions. As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and confident in your professional role. You have good interpersonal skills and always work with the patient's needs in focus. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Regarding the formal requirements for the position, we welcome you if you are a licensed occupational therapist with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language skills of at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is also a requirement.
