The health center offers a complete primary care range and is also a training health center for specialist doctors. WORK TASKS We now welcome you as a licensed occupational therapist. Here you contribute your specific expertise to increase individuals' independence and participation in everyday activities. You are the first point of contact for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of injuries to the hand, forearm, and elbow, as well as provision and fabrication of orthoses. Your work tasks also include performing activity and functional assessments and participating in cognitive evaluations. Prescriptions and provision of assistive devices as well as follow-ups according to prescription processes are also included. Counseling is a central part of your work, both individually and by leading educational sessions for various patient groups. There is also an opportunity to work with health-focused conversations and some work as a rehabilitation coordinator (REKO). We offer you varied work tasks where you meet patients of all ages and you have considerable control over your day and schedule. On the rehabilitation unit, you work together with five physiotherapists but also collaborate with other professions such as doctors and nurses. QUALIFICATIONS You are a licensed occupational therapist with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. Swedish language skills at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required. As travel on duty occurs, a valid B driving license is required. We consider it a merit if you have several years of professional experience in the profession, preferably in primary care.
