Welcome to a workplace where we not only dare to think differently – we encourage it! In Åtvidaberg Municipality, we work with courage, a holistic perspective, and long-term thinking in everything we do. We are now seeking an occupational therapist for our rehabilitation team! In the rehabilitation team, we work toward good and safe rehabilitation for our residents. We work preventatively and therapeutically, especially with older adults. Regardless of the individual's housing arrangement, the rehabilitation is person-centered, and we are part of the region's LAH operations where advanced home healthcare and rehabilitation are provided in both ordinary and special housing. Your responsibilities As an occupational therapist, you meet people in different life phases, with different needs, and often with long-term rehabilitation needs. Within the scope of your assignment, you work independently by managing your own time, planning and implementing interventions. You prioritize your workday both on your own and together with your colleagues based on the cases you are responsible for. Your role includes assessments and addressing issues or risks for your patients, who live in ordinary housing, special housing, and temporary housing. There is a strong focus on teamwork, and the work is carried out in close collaboration with other professionals around patients such as physiotherapists, nurses, care staff, benefits administrators, unit managers, and external partners. About you We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist and would prefer that you have previous experience in municipal rehabilitation. A B-class driving license is required as the position involves travel within the municipality. We also need you to have strong command of Swedish, both spoken and written, as the position involves extensive client contact and documentation. For success in this role, we see that you thrive working both independently and in a team. You take responsibility for your assignment and drive your processes with a focus on goals and results. You are flexible and adapt easily to changing circumstances by quickly adjusting your perspective and approach. Furthermore, we see that you work well with other people, listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively.
