We are seeking an engaged and collaborative occupational therapist for our specialized housing facilities Guldvivan and Hedvigsgården in Upplands Väsby. The position is divided approximately 50/50 between these facilities and suits you if you enjoy working closely with individuals while appreciating teamwork and collaboration with various professional groups. About Us Guldvivan and Hedvigsgården are two of the municipality's specialized housing facilities operated by the municipality itself. Guldvivan is a specialized housing facility for the elderly with 54 places divided between somatic care and dementia care. Hedvigsgården is a specialized housing facility for the elderly with 40 places for persons with dementia diagnoses. 16 of the places are for people with a Finnish orientation. About the Position Your work tasks include responsibility for: Conducting occupational therapy assessments Follow-ups based on the individual's needs Investigating and assessing the need for occupational therapy interventions Prescribing and testing assistive devices Conducting functional assessments Guiding staff in creating structure Handling assistive devices and providing appropriate care As a licensed professional, you also have responsibility for documenting the interventions that are planned, implemented, and evaluated. You also collaborate with other care providers. For this position, presenting a valid extract from the police's criminal record register and suspicion register is a requirement for employment. Are You the One We're Looking For? We are looking for you who: Are a licensed occupational therapist Have experience in elderly care Can communicate and document fluently in Swedish Have good computer skills You enjoy working independently as well as in a team. As a person, you are flexible and see solutions instead of problems. The work also requires that you have an easy way of meeting people and have very good collaborative skills.
