Job Responsibilities In your role as an occupational therapist in the City of Malmö, you create favorable conditions for individuals to live as independently, engaged, and meaningfully as possible. With us, you're part of a team where you collaborate with nurses, physical therapists, and care personnel, and participate in care planning. The work is based on the individual's needs, personal circumstances, and engagement. As a licensed occupational therapist, you perform ADL assessments and activity assessments, and assess, plan, and implement rehabilitation interventions. Your work also includes coaching other staff in a rehabilitative approach. When needed, you also conduct assessments of the home environment, which may include investigating adaptation needs and testing technical aids. In this role, you have good opportunities to plan and take responsibility for how your workdays should look. Most of the time we cycle to our patients – an excellent way to get some extra daylight and enjoy getting out in the fresh air during the workday.
