We are seeking an engaged occupational therapist who wants to help create conditions for participation, independence, and meaningful daily life for individuals within LSS, residential support, and day activities. We offer varied and developmental work where you have great opportunity to influence both the individual's quality of life and the development of our services. You will become an important part of our rehabilitation team and work closely with physical therapists, nurses, unit managers, and care personnel. Start date by agreement. Responsibilities As an occupational therapist, you work to strengthen the individual's activity capacity and independence based on the person's own goals and circumstances. The work includes, among other things: - Assessing activity and functional capacity. - Planning, implementing, and following up occupational therapy interventions. - Prescribing, testing, and monitoring assistive devices. - Coaching and training staff in a rehabilitative approach and matters of interaction. - Collaborating with service users, relatives, colleagues, and external healthcare providers such as performing service purchases on behalf of the region. - Documenting in the Viva journal system. - Contributing to service development and quality work. Qualifications Requirements: - Licensed occupational therapist. Meritorious: - Experience working within LSS, social psychiatry, or municipal rehabilitation. - Experience with assistive device prescription. - Experience with cognitive assistive devices and cognitive support. - Experience coaching and training staff. - Knowledge of low-arousal interaction and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC).
