Occupational Therapist for Home Rehabilitation at Rehab City Östermalm
Do you want to join us? We are looking for an Occupational Therapist for a permanent position with our wonderful home rehabilitation team at Östermalm. Rehab City is a results-driven unit within SLSO, Stockholm County Health Care Area. We have approximately 85 employees across three different clinics and provide primary care rehabilitation. Our clinic at Östermalm has 24 staff members, of which 8 are occupational therapists. Your work will be characterized by a patient-centered approach, job satisfaction, and the conviction that all people are equally valuable. Job Responsibilities: As an occupational therapist in home rehabilitation within primary care, you will meet patients of all ages and from different cultures. Patients have various diagnoses and functional limitations. We work both in home rehabilitation teams and on individual home visits. You will work with activity assessments, assistive device prescriptions, and training in patients' homes and their immediate surroundings. We walk or use bicycles to make our home visits. When working in a patient's home, you need to be comfortable in environments with pets and not be sensitive to cigarette smoke. Employment Terms: Permanent employment where probation may apply, full-time or by agreement, flexible working hours. Start date by agreement. Qualifications: Registered Occupational Therapist with a Bachelor's degree (180 credits); a Master's degree is a merit. Experience working in primary care is a merit. Swedish language skills at least C1 level. For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Health Care Area: - Background checks will be conducted prior to employment decision according to SLSO's general instructions for background checks at hiring. - Employees who will have patient contact must undergo new employee health screening, according to applicable directives, which is conducted by occupational health services before employment. - In addition to Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language at C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required.
