The Adult Habilitation Clinic serves people over 18 years old with permanent functional disabilities including intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, or mobility impairments. Operations are conducted according to the Health and Medical Care Act (HSL) and the Act on Support and Services for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). We also serve patients' next of kin as well as staff and assistants. Operations are conducted through interdisciplinary teamwork together with social workers, speech-language pathologists, psychologists, physical therapists, and occupational therapists. The Adult Habilitation Clinic in Northwestern Skåne is a unit consisting of two clinics, one in Helsingborg and one in Ängelholm. Our clinics have well-developed collaboration and it is common for colleagues to assist at both locations. We are now seeking two new occupational therapists for the unit, one position at each clinic. 2 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As an occupational therapist, your duties include conducting assessments and providing support services to our patients, both individually and in groups. You will also work with information, guidance, consultation, as well as testing and follow-up of certain assistive devices. Work is performed both independently and together with colleagues. We work in teams where all professions are equally important and we support each other daily in our work with our patients. The placement location will be according to preference and agreement. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking someone who is a licensed occupational therapist with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language proficiency at a minimum level of C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale is a requirement. Experience from habilitation services and/or other work with our target groups is considered a merit.
