The Adult Habilitation Center serves individuals over 18 years old with permanent functional disabilities including intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or mobility impairments. The operations are conducted in accordance with the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) and the Act on Support and Services for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). We also serve patients' relatives as well as staff and assistants. The work is conducted in interdisciplinary team collaboration with social workers, speech therapists, psychologists, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. The Adult Habilitation Center in Northwestern Skåne is a unit consisting of two centers, one in Helsingborg and one in Ängelholm. Our centers have well-developed collaboration and it is common for colleagues to assist at both locations. We are now recruiting two new occupational therapists for the unit, one position at each center. 2 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As an occupational therapist, your duties include conducting assessments and providing support services to our patients, both individually and in groups. You will also work with information, guidance, consultation, as well as testing and follow-up of certain assistive devices. The work is performed both independently and together with colleagues. We work in a team where all professions are equally important and we support each other daily in our work with patients. The position's location will be determined by preference and agreement. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language proficiency at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is required. Experience from habilitation services and/or other work with our target groups is considered a merit. Our adult habilitation centers in Northwestern Skåne are characterized by great commitment and a desire to contribute and share our experience and knowledge. We are therefore looking for someone who has the ability to plan and prioritize your tasks. The role also involves many contact points and collaboration with various people. It is therefore important that you are communicative and clear in both speech and writing, and have the ability to listen and observe what others communicate.
