About the Role
We are looking for an occupational therapist who wants to work in a solution-focused, creative way and as part of a secure team in municipal health and social care with a focus on disability services.
You will be part of one of our three teams, based at Bryggaregatan in Borås, but working in a defined geographical area where you meet people living in group homes, supported housing, or ordinary housing, as well as participants in day activities.
Responsibilities
As an occupational therapist, you work to strengthen individuals' ability to manage their daily lives—this means you work preventatively and compensatorily, always with the individual's needs in focus. You have access to proven methods and structures, but we also know that it takes courage to think new and creatively. Our target group is complex, which means that flexibility, attentiveness, and the ability to think outside the box are important qualities in daily work.
You work closely with a physiotherapist, nurse, nursing assistant, and rehabilitation assistant in an interdisciplinary team where we help and complement each other. We place great value on you thriving in collaboration with others while also having the ability to work independently.

Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist who preferably has experience working with people with disabilities. What matters most, however, is that you are engaged, curious, and confident in your role, and that you have the desire to contribute to improving daily life for people with different functional variations.
