Occupational Therapist for Day Rehabilitation

The Primary Care operational area is a newly established operational area within Region Gävleborg with a regional mandate. Day Rehabilitation and Psychotherapy offer interprofessional rehabilitation services and structured psychotherapy for adult patients. Within day rehabilitation, patients with stroke, neurological disease/injury, or traumatic brain injury are offered individual and group-based training. The teams consist of an occupational therapist, physiotherapist, speech-language pathologist, and rehabilitation assistant. We are now seeking a licensed occupational therapist for day rehabilitation in Western Gästrikland, Sandviken Hospital. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you will work closely with all team members. The work involves both individual meetings with patients and group sessions. All patients have their own rehabilitation plan, and the facilities enable rehabilitation in everyday activities. You are responsive, communicative, and resolve challenging situations constructively while being able to put yourself in someone else's perspective or situation. Since you have a good understanding of people's different circumstances, you can also adapt the way you communicate your message to the recipient. Furthermore, you are organized and can plan and prioritize work so that it fits with the rest of the operation. It is important that you enjoy working in a team as this is an important and large part of our way of working. In the role of occupational therapist, you should • be a licensed occupational therapist. For this position, it is meritorious if you have experience in rehabilitation work for neurological injury/disease. Employment form: Permanent position. Duration: start date according to agreement.
