The position is placed within the Social Services Department, which is one of eight departments in Linköping Municipality. The Social Services Department is responsible for authority functions, procurement of services, and in-house operations within the areas of individual and family care, LSS, and social psychiatry. We are now seeking an engaged occupational therapist for our daily activity programs within the LSS department at the Social Services Department! As an occupational therapist with us, you will work in a dynamic and inclusive environment where each day offers new challenges and opportunities. Our goal is to develop individually tailored interventions with a focus on security and independence for our participants. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, where collaboration between different professional groups is fundamental. Work tasks include, among other things: Ensure that appropriate assistive devices are available in the programs and educate, supervise, and advise staff on how to use them Participate in various types of risk assessments related to, for example, fall accidents Documentation at both individual level and for the program regarding what assistive devices are available in the program Collaborate and monitor the external environment within the field Beyond this, you will also work with so-called guidance assignments, where you help individuals find a daily activity program that suits them. As an occupational therapist with us, you work daytime Monday-Friday and we apply flexible working hour agreements. Your Workplace Daily activity programs within Linköping Municipality are directed at individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism who need support or guidance at work and have an LSS decision. We currently have about 30 daily activity programs with many different specializations. Together, we create good days with our participants. Within daily activities, support assistants, support educators, adult educators, and development leaders work. We work in teams with the client's best interests in mind. We warmly welcome your application! You as the Applicant We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist with professional experience. We also want you to have experience working within psychiatry or with individuals with intellectual or physical disabilities. Experience with cognitive support and assessment of rehabilitation needs is a merit. It is also desirable that you have training in low-arousal approaches or motivational interviewing (MI). For this position, you must have a B-category driver's license as the role involves travel. You also need to have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, and have experience using digital tools for documentation.
