Club Cefalon is a day activity service within the HSL area covering all of Malmö City, serving individuals under 66 years of age with a confirmed dementia diagnosis.
Here you will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in the field of cognitive diseases, working with colleagues who have extensive experience. You will also have the opportunity to work from a rehabilitative approach and lead and participate in stimulating activities together with our guests. Job Responsibilities
As an occupational therapist at Club Cefalon, you will be an important part of our team, where different professional categories collaborate to promote our guests' well-being. Your main assignment involves working with a rehabilitative approach and strengthening guests' own resources and contributing to a safe and meaningful existence at the day activity service.
Your area of responsibility includes assessing guests' activity capacity and documenting it. You handle incident reports and, when needed, write certificates regarding activity capacity. You are also responsible for prescribing cognitive aids, participating in care planning, and contributing to various development projects. Guiding and organizing activity groups at the day activity service, in close collaboration with your colleagues, is a natural and integrated part of your role as an occupational therapist at Club Cefalon.
Qualifications
Requirements for the position:
- Certified occupational therapist with 180 credits.
- At least 2 years of experience as an occupational therapist
- Experience from day activity services for individuals with cognitive diseases or daily activities within the LSS area
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
