Our clinic is centrally located in beautiful Alvik, just a 3-minute walk from both subway and commuter train stations. Here we offer you varied work tasks and are primarily looking for someone who wants to combine work at the clinic with hand rehabilitation and home-based rehabilitation. You will meet patients of all ages and have significant control over your day and schedule, as well as collaborate with other professional categories such as physical therapists, dietitians, and chiropractors. Rehab Västra is an independent results unit within Stockholm County Healthcare with a mandate to conduct primary care rehabilitation in the western region as well as an additional assignment for neuro teams in outpatient care. Our clinics are located in Bromma, Ekerö, Kista, and Spånga. In the organization, occupational therapists, dietitians, physical therapists/physiotherapists, chiropractors, receptionists, social workers, and speech-language pathologists work together, totaling approximately 70 employees. Job Responsibilities: As an occupational therapist specializing in hand rehabilitation at the clinic, you will meet patients of all ages and from different cultures. Patients may have various types of diseases, injuries, and functional limitations where the work requires broad expertise and independence. At the clinic, you work independently but rehabilitation work is done in close collaboration with other professionals. Your work tasks include assessment and treatment primarily on an individual basis. Within home-based rehabilitation, you meet and treat patients in their homes and make home visits both individually but especially in teams with physical therapists or dietitians. Work tasks include: Activity and functional assessment/investigation/training, advice and support on self-care. Prescription of assistive devices and information about products and technology. Assessment of residence and surrounding environment and environment-directed measures such as home modifications. Collaborate with other healthcare providers, guide and support relatives and care staff, and supervise students. Documentation is done in the TakeCare journal system. Employment Type: Permanent employment in Bromma starting by agreement. Full-time 40 hours/week. Probation period may apply.
