The Rehabilitation Unit at Sollefteå Hospital consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, and rehabilitation assistants. With us, you will have the opportunity to develop new working methods and routines for a new mobile rehab team. The team at our unit has good atmosphere and you will have several experienced colleagues to discuss with. We are now seeking an occupational therapist for the Occupational Therapy Department in Sollefteå. This position is a permanent full-time employment with start date by agreement. Duties Occupational therapists at Sollefteå Hospital work with: Patient care both on inpatient wards and in outpatient activities. Assessment and rehabilitation within day rehabilitation and hand rehabilitation. Interdisciplinary teamwork with other professional categories. Assessment of cognition and activity capacity in hospitalized patients. Promotion of activity capacity and prescription of assistive devices as compensatory measures. Rehabilitation of patients of different ages with newly acquired illness or injury. Training and assessment of activity and cognitive capacity. Opportunity to participate in a stroke team - home rehabilitation. You will also have the opportunity to be part of developing a new home rehab team in line with Close Care.
