Welcome to the psychiatry, rehabilitation, and habilitation department! Our mission is to offer all residents of Kronoberg County specialized psychiatric care, rehabilitation, and habilitation. Care shall be provided in collaboration with other actors within and outside Region Kronoberg, with a cohesive care chain and patient participation in focus. We want to create good conditions for our patients to receive the right care and treatment with the best possible expertise.
Specialist psychiatry for children, adolescents, and adults provides modern and specialized psychiatric care in collaboration with next of kin and other healthcare providers. A good work environment with motivating and competent employees is a prerequisite for us to succeed in our mission.
General psychiatry is organized in specialized units where staff work based on integrated teams, outpatient care, and 24-hour care that follows the patient throughout the entire care chain. Within the general psychiatric outpatient clinic, unit 2 treats patients with personality disorders, eating disorders, neuropsychiatric issues, and patients with suicide risk.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role as an occupational therapist, you will conduct qualified assessment, investigation, and treatment work with patients within general psychiatry. Your work includes both individual patient contacts and leading psychoeducational groups, such as Ha koll or Vardag i balans. In your work with patients, you contribute with occupational therapy assessment and investigation, structure-enhancing interventions, and prescription of cognitive aids. As an occupational therapist, you work in a team with other professional categories but also have close collaboration with your occupational therapy colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist and who want to work with an interesting and varied area of work. Experience working as an occupational therapist in psychiatric care is a merit.
You are comfortable working independently as well as in a team, and you enjoy developing both your own and the department's work. You feel secure in uncertain situations, stand up for your own opinions, and welcome change and development with great focus on patients. We see that you are engaged in your work, have a strong interest in working in psychiatric care, and contribute to a good work environment.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
