This temporary position is located at Teg Health Center. One of our employees will be on leave for a period, and we are now seeking a replacement. We are looking for someone who wants to work in a stable area in central Umeå. Our catchment area has a diverse population from both urban and rural areas, with approximately 18,000 registered patients. We have good staffing across all professional categories at the health center. We strive to maintain a collaborative environment at our health center, as we know that everyone has an important contribution to ensuring that our registered patients experience good care and guidance. We have strong teamwork and an engaged social committee that ensures we enjoy ourselves outside of work hours as well. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As an occupational therapist, you contribute your specific expertise to increase individuals' independence and participation in daily activities. The job duties are varied and consist of both team work and independent work, where the foundation of the work is assessment of abilities and skills in activities regardless of age. Assessment and treatment of hand patients is a major part of the work, as is work with mental health issues. You work closely with the psychosocial team, where the work is directed toward both adults and frontline care for children and young people with mental health issues. Part of the work includes assessment and prescription of assistive devices. You are part of the dementia team and have a specific role in investigations. You are part of the rehabilitation team for adults within the sick leave process, depending on your experience and expertise. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist, preferably with experience and interest in primary care. You have good ability to work in a team as well as independently. You are positive about change initiatives and actively contribute to a good work environment. Employment type: Fixed-term contract.
