Information about the Workplace Sundbyberg Clinic is part of Praktikertjänst and our facilities are located at beautiful Marabou Park, a short walk from the commuter train and light rail. We are 30 colleagues, including 4 occupational therapists, who provide primary care rehabilitation on behalf of Region Stockholm. With a growing patient base, we need to expand our home rehabilitation team to maintain our highly appreciated quality in rehabilitating people in their homes. Therefore, we are looking for a new colleague to welcome and introduce to our wonderful home rehabilitation team. Job Responsibilities As an occupational therapist in primary care, you will meet a variety of patients of different ages with different ailments and backgrounds. The position involves home rehabilitation where you as an occupational therapist play an important role in the team around the patient to provide safe and quality care. If you enjoy great variety and dynamic work, this is for you. You will work both individually and in a team with physical therapists and sometimes with a dietician. You will work with experienced colleagues who are happy to share their experience when a colleague needs advice and support. You will conduct assessments in the patient's home environment. You prescribe assistive devices, participate in certifications for home modifications, contribute to dementia investigations, and guide people in the patient's vicinity, etc. Qualifications - Licensed occupational therapist. - B-driver's license. - Experience in primary care and home rehabilitation is an advantage. - Experience with the TakeCare medical records system is an advantage.
