Together we create a safe and stable living environment and appropriate care for all stages of life for people with dementia. Responsibilities Your duties will include planning various activities and rehabilitation based on residents' resources and needs, and leading activities—both individually and in groups. It is important that you have prior experience assessing and evaluating activity capacity from a cognitive perspective, enjoy leading various group activities such as exercise and cooking, and have a talent for inspiring groups. Development work is ongoing in our operations, and we hope you will become part of that work with us. The operation aims to maintain and strengthen the target group's functional abilities through an activating and function-sustaining approach. A commitment to a salutogenic approach is a requirement. In your role as an occupational therapist, you will work together with care users to find the best ways to use their own abilities in daily life. You will support and motivate individuals to develop and maintain their physical, cognitive, and social abilities, focusing on a meaningful and dignified day based on their wishes and needs. This often involves making assessments and adapting the living environment. You will test and prescribe physical and cognitive assistive devices. You will guide care staff in rehabilitative interventions, approaches, and transfer techniques. Other tasks may include performing risk assessments, organizing training, working according to BPSD protocols, collaborating with various agencies, and participating in development work to improve care quality. In your work, we see that you: Are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks. Are attentive and relationship-building in interactions with residents and their families. Have good empathetic ability, provide respectful care, maintain a calm and positive demeanor, have strong collaboration skills, are flexible and innovative, and see possibilities. You must be fluent in Swedish both spoken and written. Work experience in equivalent facilities or similar operations is advantageous.
