Through coordinated efforts, close collaboration, and an individual-focused approach, we create conditions for increased independence, participation, and sustainable solutions. The Employment Unit (EFA) is part of the administration and offers labor market initiatives, daily activities according to LSS, and employment according to SoL. We work to develop and strengthen individuals' activity and work capacity through meaningful, work-like, and individually adapted tasks. In close collaboration with colleagues, employers, and other partners, we support people on their path toward increased participation, development, and opportunities to move closer to work, studies, and an independent everyday life. About the Position We are now seeking a flexible and committed occupational therapist who wants to combine work-life-oriented rehabilitation assessments with activity pedagogy responsibilities. The position is placed at the Employment Unit (EFA) and involves varied work where you collaborate with participants, colleagues, internal operations, and external actors to create sustainable paths toward self-sufficiency, employment, or meaningful activities. You will be active within several of the administration's areas and support both individuals and operations based on your profession. Responsibilities Occupational Therapy Assessment Tasks As an occupational therapist at the Employment Unit, you are responsible for planning and implementing: Assessing individuals' activity and work capacity Conducting activity assessments and work capacity evaluations Working with the activity requirement and assessing individuals' prerequisites for activity, employment, or rehabilitation Identifying activity limitations and resources to create realistic and sustainable rehabilitation plans Preparing written assessments and closure reports Participating in meetings with participants and relevant collaboration partners Contributing information to medical and work-life-oriented rehabilitation processes The work takes place in close collaboration with social workers, labor market coordinators, healthcare providers, the Swedish Public Employment Service, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, and other actors supporting individuals' path toward self-sufficiency. Activity Pedagogy Responsibilities The position also includes activity pedagogy responsibilities within daily activities, employment services, and work training. This means you: Coordinate participants within daily activity employment services and work training Contribute to the development of pedagogical approaches in operations Provide methodological support and supervision to group leaders and other staff Support operations with questions regarding documentation, development and follow-up of implementation plans/action plans, structure, adaptations, and participant development Participate in development work to ensure quality and goal achievement within operations Collaborate with residences, family members, and other important people in the participant's network to promote the individual's well-being, participation, and development Collaboration As an occupational therapist and activity pedagogue, you work in several multidisciplinary teams with group leaders, social workers, senior social workers, labor market coordinators, and unit managers. The teams aim to manage complex cases where the goal is for individuals to receive appropriate services, correct compensation, and shorter waiting times in their rehabilitation processes. You will also participate in other collaborative work, for example with Primary Care, Adult Psychiatry, outpatient clinics, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, the Swedish Public Employment Service, and the Coordination Association West. Qualifications We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist with experience in work-life-oriented rehabilitation and assessment of activity and work capacity. You hold a B-class driver's license, have strong communication skills, and enjoy working both independently and in collaboration with others. As a person, you are organized, flexible, and proactive, with a professional approach and a good ability to build trusting relationships. It is advantageous if you have experience with AWP (Assessment of Work Performance), work within LSS and SoL operations, and activity pedagogy work. We also view experience favorably with collaboration between municipalities, healthcare, the Swedish Public Employment Service, and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, as well as a good understanding of how different actors can work together to contribute to individuals' development, participation, and opportunities for employment or meaningful activities.
