As an occupational therapist in the rehabilitation team, you will have varied work that involves supporting our two special care facilities in Halmstad. Your workplace may vary and the interventions are both acute and planned. As an occupational therapist with us, you have overall responsibility for patients' rehabilitation. You conduct assessments, plan and perform interventions, document services, and prescribe medical technical products based on individual needs. An important part of your work is to mentor and educate care personnel to ensure safe and quality care. You work closely with physiotherapists, nurses, operations managers, and care personnel.
You will receive support from a team leader with a background as a trained physiotherapist and a great team with competent colleagues as well as clear work methods and routines.

You are a licensed occupational therapist with a genuine interest in elder care and an interest in teamwork. As a person, you are responsible, structured, and independent and meet others with humility and professionalism. With a flexible attitude and a pedagogical and communicative approach, you thrive in mentoring, inspiring, and creating security in interactions with patients, relatives, and colleagues.
You need to master Swedish in speech and writing and have a good ability/experience in documenting.
Requirements
Licensure as an occupational therapist
At least two years of professional experience
Driver's license category B
Experience from elder care is an asset
