About the Workplace
The Health and Care Unit in Hjo consists of approximately 30 employees who are responsible for all healthcare & rehabilitation for the municipality's patients. Work takes place in both home care and at special housing & short-term units. We are a socially oriented work group where the goal is to develop and have fun at work. We actively work on development within our unit, we want to be at the forefront when it comes to digital working methods including mobile documentation system, digital signing, digital locks at all patient locations, medication robots and more.
Now one of our occupational therapists will try new challenges and we are looking for a replacement for our close-knit rehabilitation team, which consists of 4 occupational therapists, 3 physiotherapists and 2 rehabilitation assistants.
About the Role
As an occupational therapist with us, you will work independently with the freedom to plan and organize your working day based on patients' needs. In our team, you work closely with physiotherapists, nurses, rehabilitation assistants and care staff, which creates a holistic perspective on patients' care and rehabilitation. You perform occupational therapy assessment and treatment independently or joint assessments together with your team. You prescribe rehabilitation measures that rehabilitation assistants or care staff carry out. We see the working method with rehabilitation assistant as an important puzzle piece to achieve the goals you set together with your patients. We have regular team meetings where care staff also participate. It also includes supervising and training care staff in transfers and assistive devices.
We are facing a change where we will launch a new role in our operation, MAR (medically responsible for rehabilitation). There is an opportunity for you as an applicant to be involved in this development.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist and have a valid category B driving license. You need to master the Swedish language both orally and in writing.
As a person, you are self-driven and independent while also being responsive to patients' needs and having the ability to cooperate with both colleagues, relatives and other partners. You have the ability to educate and delegate tasks to relevant care staff and follow up on interventions. You are a warm colleague who wants to work with us for close and high-quality care.
