On the SSAB industrial site in Luleå, a historic development is underway where steel production of the future is taking shape. In the midst of this development, BDX is an important partner in daily operations. We perform assignments within facilities, machinery and transport that help projects, production and development move forward. Now we are looking for a work environment coordinator who wants to be part of strengthening our work on work environment and safety. About the position As a work environment coordinator at BDX, you get an important role in supporting, developing and following up on work environment efforts related to our assignments at the SSAB industrial site in Luleå and our other industrial assignments within the South division. The role is both operational and developmental. You work closely with the operations and gain good insight into the work tasks, conditions and risks present in our assignments. Through your presence, you become important support in systematic work environment efforts, contributing knowledge in risk assessments and work preparations, and following up that routines, legal requirements and working methods are complied with. You are also an important part of driving improvement work, spreading knowledge and contributing to safety always being an integral part of planning and implementation. - Support operations in work environment matters. - Conduct and follow up risk assessments, safety rounds and work environment measures. - Coordinate investigations of incidents, accidents and risk observations. - Contribute to developing and following up work environment plans, routines and instructions. - Ensure that work environment efforts are conducted in accordance with applicable legislation, regulations, customer requirements and internal working methods. - Provide support during work preparations and planning of risky work tasks. - Analyze events, risks and measures to identify causes, patterns and improvement opportunities. - Hold or participate in training and information initiatives on work environment and safety. - Cooperate with customers, safety representatives, suppliers and other internal functions.
