The Role of Work Environment Coordinator - Gällivare
Do you want to be part of creating the industry of the future and play a crucial role in complex projects – in a safe and sustainable way? As a Work Environment Coordinator in one of Sweden's most extensive construction projects, you will have a central role in driving and developing systematic work environment practices on site. Your responsibilities also include environmental matters. This is a job where your contribution truly makes a difference – every day, out in the field.
You will work closely with production and other project functions on matters such as safety inspections, statistics, risk assessments, deviation management, and preventative work environment and environmental initiatives. You will lead and participate in meetings, develop instructions and presentation materials.
It's about creating a strong and vibrant safety culture where people thrive, perform, and go home safe. With physical presence on the construction site and close collaboration with the client and all project functions, you are helping to build both structure and culture.
You will become part of an engaged team and work in an organization where your contributions make a real difference.
Your Profile as Work Environment Coordinator
We are looking for someone with experience from larger projects – preferably in construction or industry – where you have worked with work environment and environmental matters in practice. You have relevant education or equivalent knowledge through professional experience and are confident in taking ownership of your area.
You are accustomed to driving matters independently and joining projects in early stages where you can develop and implement processes. At the same time, the work also happens in clear collaboration with the client and other professional roles in complex environments. You master both Swedish and English, and have the ability to communicate clearly and engagingly, both in conversations and in presentations.
Do you want to be part of something big – and at the same time contribute to ensuring that every individual in the workplace has a safe and sustainable work environment? Then we would like to meet you.
