Main Responsibilities As an Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator, you will have a strategic and advisory role, driving occupational health and safety initiatives forward in the region. You will provide expert guidance on occupational health and safety matters and be responsible for developing internal procedures for systematic occupational health and safety work and ensuring compliance throughout the organization. You will monitor occupational health and safety laws and regulations and inform the rest of the organization about important changes. You will also monitor goals and action plans within occupational health and safety and serve as a contact person with regulatory authorities. You will compile and maintain statistics on incidents, provide information, investigate and report on accidents and serious incidents, and collaborate with safety representatives and HR. You will be a key person in shaping our work methods and strengthening our safety culture with a particular focus on behaviors, leadership, and organizational factors. You will be part of a team of specialists in occupational health and safety and will report to the Production Support Manager. Who Are You? We believe you have several years of experience in qualified occupational health and safety work in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry. We see that you have post-secondary education with a focus on occupational health and safety or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience. Most importantly, we see that you have a genuine interest in occupational health and safety matters and an understanding of the industry. We see that you are an engaged, communicative, and self-directed person who is passionate about occupational health and safety. Since you will be responsible for driving occupational health and safety work forward in the region, you must be responsible and goal-oriented. Furthermore, we see that you have strong teaching abilities so that you can communicate information about occupational health and safety work clearly and comprehensibly throughout the organization. You will work from our nice offices in Solna and will have Stockholm/Rönninge/Uppsala and surrounding municipalities as your work area.
