Your Role As an Occupational Health & Safety Engineer at Boliden Bergsöe in Landskrona, you will have a central role where you contribute to both a safe workplace and a sustainable future. Boliden Bergsöe is the leading player in the Nordic region for lead recycling, and here you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in an operation where health, safety, and sustainability are central. In this role, you work closely with the operations and contribute specialized expertise within the occupational health and safety field. You combine operational support with strategic development work and help the organization translate requirements, knowledge, and ambitions into practical and sustainable solutions. Together with managers, supervisors, and employees, you drive the development of systematic occupational health and safety work, address issues related to chemical health risks, and contribute to creating a safe and developmental workplace. Through your work, you create the conditions for long-term occupational health and safety efforts where both people and operations can develop. Your Team As an Occupational Health & Safety Engineer, you work closely with the operations and report to the Head of HR, Communications, and H&S. You collaborate with managers, supervisors, employees, and union representatives, and maintain ongoing contact with authorities, specialists, and external networks within the occupational health and safety field. Your Responsibilities Develop and coordinate systematic occupational health and safety work Support the operations in occupational health and safety and fire protection matters Address chemical health risk issues with an in-depth focus on lead Conduct risk assessments and measurements Structure and analyze data and suggest corrective or improvement measures Train managers and employees Conduct audits and reporting Your Contribution We are looking for someone who is unpretentious, attentive, and has a strong ability to build relationships and create collaborations. You find it easy to understand the needs of the operations and translate knowledge into practical and sustainable solutions. With strong personal drive, you take initiative and involve others to advance occupational health and safety matters. We are looking for someone who has: University or college education in occupational health and safety, engineering, natural sciences, or equivalent Several years of experience in occupational health and safety work Good knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and systematic occupational health and safety work Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing Good system proficiency It is advantageous if you have experience in occupational health and safety work within process industry or other industrial operations.
