Description:

At Trelleborg, we work together for a growing, thriving municipality where life is good. Our 61 villages and 21 city districts are creative meeting places buzzing with life. Here we want things, talk about them, and show up as we are. That's why we welcome others with the same generous and curious approach. Welcome to join us on this journey! The Labor Market Administration works to promote the municipality's growth by creating conditions for residents to have lifelong learning and be self-sufficient. We do this with a focus on competency supply and through coordinated operational services to businesses, working to address complex societal challenges with innovative approaches. The administration consists of three departments: Labor Market, Quality and Coordination, and Campus Trelleborg, with approximately 100 committed employees. Since everything Trelleborg Municipality does is grounded in our values of openness, respect, and responsibility, it's important and crucial that these values are just as self-evident for you as they are for us in our work. The Workplace Do you want to work with labor market issues and competency supply? Do you have the energy, experience, and courage to create new methods to succeed with this mission? With us, you'll have the opportunity to work in an operation that makes a real difference for citizens, businesses, and the municipality. Development work is a natural part of daily operations and you'll contribute your expertise to help us reach our goals. We live our values of openness, respect, and responsibility, and it's important that you stand behind them in word and deed, along with our competency supply perspective. Job Responsibilities As a Labor Market Secretary, you will work with individuals to develop active labor market planning aimed at work and/or education and self-sufficiency. With the help of individual planning, you'll ensure that job seekers set goals for their own support. You'll guide and coordinate measures that are systematically followed up so individuals reach their goals. You'll also lead and participate in group activities. Your daily tasks are carried out in close cooperation with other actors, including the Public Employment Service, other authorities, and the business community. Since much of the work involves collaboration, it's important that you're good at working together and believe in its benefits. Qualifications We're looking for someone with a university degree in social sciences and/or behavioral sciences and a strong interest in labor market and education issues. You should have solid experience in labor market work and/or economic assistance, and be accustomed to independently organizing your work. You should also have extensive experience guiding and coaching job seekers to achieve self-sufficiency. The role requires that you believe high expectations lead to high performance, that setting requirements is positive, and that you believe in word and deed in individuals' willingness and ability to make their own choices. Your ability to communicate is your most important work tool, and we'd like to see that you have experience with both individual conversations and leading group activities. Some parts of your work may take place through digital communication, so digital skills are a merit. You'll also need to be goal-oriented and accustomed to delivering results while working at a fast pace. Since the operation is constantly evolving, the role requires that you're flexible, creative, and able to make independent decisions. The work requires good knowledge of the regional labor market. We use the Lifecare management system and experience with this system is therefore considered a merit. We place great emphasis on personal qualities such as good collaboration skills, engagement, and a positive attitude, as these make a big difference both for the team and for individuals.
