At our workplace, you'll find that joy in work, commitment, and development are a natural part of every day. We believe in thinking differently, working smart, and continuously improving together. Perstorp Municipality is located in the heart of northern Scania, in the middle of the dynamic Øresund region—one of Sweden's most expansive areas. Here, the closeness and security of a small town combine with proximity to both natural experiences and larger cities. The municipality has approximately 7,300 residents and around 560 employees who together drive development forward. We're proud of our strong business environment and our focus on public health, sustainability, and quality of life. Here you have good opportunities to make an impact, develop, and make a difference every day. Job Description The Employment Unit's primary mission is to actively work toward making more residents self-sufficient while helping local businesses obtain the right competence. Through coordinated efforts, residents without employment are supported in strengthening their position in the labor market, and through work or studies, ultimately becoming self-supporting. The Employment Unit (AME) offers various employment initiatives such as internships, individual counseling, group counseling, and matching with public as well as private employers. Collaboration is of utmost importance to the operation. Primarily with other municipal services, but also with the Public Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, healthcare, and the 11 municipalities within the Family Helsingborg network. Projects are also conducted through FINSAM NNV Scania. Duties We're now seeking two employment consultants for our team with a primary focus on group and individual counseling. There is great focus on working with clients referred from social services who receive income support. As an employee of the Employment Unit, you'll be part of a team where, through commitment, service, and professional conduct, we work together to achieve our established operational goals. Our operation is built on trust, respect, and understanding for one another and a positive spirit. The work involves, among other things: In collaboration with others, investigate, plan, coordinate, and implement various types of employment initiatives. Motivate, counsel, and support clients in strengthening their position in the labor market, with the ultimate goal of becoming self-sufficient. High demands on documentation and follow-up, as well as quality responsibility throughout the process. Collaboration with internal, external, and/or referring actors regarding shared clients. Contact with employers to assist in the recruitment process and meet competence needs through matching with participants. You'll be involved in the development of the operation and have the opportunity to influence processes. Qualifications We're looking for someone with appropriate education at higher education level or other competence/experience that the employer deems equivalent and relevant for the position. You have at least two years of relevant work experience and experience in relationship-building work aimed at developing and maintaining good relationships with various collaboration partners. Personal Qualities To succeed in the role, you need to possess the following qualities/abilities: Responsiveness and communication skills in meetings with clients to create and maintain a good and professional relationship. Good collaboration ability, where respect, trust, and humility are of utmost importance. Initiative to start activities, achieve results, and also complete what has been started. Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
