Description The Labor Market Unit is seeking a Labor Market Officer, full-time, temporary position until 2027-08-30. The Labor Market Unit at Vilhelmina Municipality works to increase employment opportunities for people outside the labor market with a focus on young people and young adults. The unit has several workplaces designed to meet participants' needs and interests, including Cornelia, Fotoarkivet, and Fritidsbanken. The Labor Market Unit is led by a Labor Market and Adult Education Manager. The Labor Market Officer is the entry point for new participants and supports the operational team leaders with a focus on participants' path to self-sufficiency. The organization also includes Vilhelmina Learning Center, which works with adult learning and skills provision, as well as Immigration Services, the municipality's refugee coordination. Job Responsibilities The Labor Market Officer guides participants to the Labor Market Unit's workplaces, to internships, or other initiatives aimed at self-sufficiency. You are also responsible for municipal activity responsibility for young people aged 16-20 who are outside work or studies. You manage internal contacts within the organization, with authorities, organizations, and companies for planning the reception of new participants. You will be involved in various development projects connected to the position. You participate in the unit's management group. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is relationship-building, solution-oriented, and stable. You are passionate about seeing people develop. You have the ability to meet each individual where they are and see opportunities that promote individual development. To succeed with this task, you need to be structured, attentive, and have good leadership qualities. Personal suitability is given great weight in this work. You have relevant university education and are qualified within the field. You have the ability to drive projects in a structured and forward-looking manner. Terms Driver's license category B is required for this position. The employment is a temporary position. About Vilhelmina Vilhelmina can be described as a 5-minute town. Although it is some distance from larger cities, once you arrive, most things are within reach. In five minutes in the town centers of Vilhelmina, Saxnäs, and Dikanäs, where we have municipal operations, you can pick up children from preschool, go to work, work out at the gym after work, or take your skis/running shoes on the lit trails, and eat at one of the local cafés and restaurants. In the mountains there are facilities that are open during tourist seasons and year-round, and also proximity to some of the larger ski slopes at Kittelfjäll and Klimpfjäll.
