Your Responsibilities
As an operations manager, you will be an important part of the team ensuring our water and wastewater facilities function and meet the environmental and safety requirements set forth. Your work is varied and involves significant personal responsibility and flexibility. Your primary duty is to supervise our 5 operations technicians. You ensure we work efficiently using modern, digital work methods that promote a good work environment for the employees involved in operating our water and wastewater facilities. You have personnel responsibility for the technicians and are their direct supervisor. Your duties also include planning for our long-term optimization needs and facility investments, as well as responsibility for water sampling and reporting to relevant authorities. You are part of the roads/water and technical leadership group where you contribute to broader development.
Your placement is in Töreboda and Gullspång.
The Roads/Water unit consists of approximately 30 employees distributed across 4 work groups: Operations Support, Roads/Parks Operations, Ground and Facilities, and Water & Wastewater Treatment.
You are expected to become familiar with the various operational stages so thoroughly that you can perform the operational measures that may be needed, as we are a small organization where everyone is needed. You will also be responsible for reporting and monitoring operations according to relevant regulatory requirements. On-call duty is part of the position.
As an operations manager with us, you have great opportunities to influence your own work and our methods, and to develop within your profession. You will help develop future water processes and other technical operations in the TG municipalities.
Qualifications
Since you will be leading our employees, we place great importance on your ability to manage others. We want you to have work experience from operations and maintenance work in the water and wastewater industry or within process industry, and we prefer that you have worked with maintenance programs.
Technical education, preferably in automation/electrical engineering or process technology, is an advantage.
Good computer skills are a requirement.
A valid driver's license (Category B) is a requirement.

Since the work requires some documentation, you need to be comfortable documenting your work.

As an operations manager in technical operations, you can expect a salary between 42,000 - 48,000 kr depending on experience and qualifications.
