We are now seeking two production supervisors for our development workshop at BAE Systems Hägglunds. Here you'll get the chance to take a key role in a self-sufficient production unit that manufactures and provides feedback on newly developed component and complete vehicle systems. You work closely with engineering, cross-functionally, and with significant influence on project execution in the workshop. Your Future Challenge BAE Systems Hägglunds is in a strong growth phase due to several new billion-dollar contracts. To meet increased demand, we are now strengthening our development workshop with two production supervisors. In this role, you are responsible for leading and supporting a team of approximately 15–17 employees in assembly and welding or in electrical assembly and logistics. The team consists of highly skilled employees in their respective areas who work independently within their domains, while you as a manager coordinate the overall operation, create the right conditions, and drive the business forward. Beyond leading the team, you have overall responsibility for the workshop section and everything it entails – from staffing, planning, and equipment to safety, quality, and daily operations. You work on all development projects and play a central role in translating technical specifications into early prototypes and mock-ups. You are involved from start to finished prototype – from scheduling, resource estimation to manufacturing execution and follow-up. Your Main Responsibilities: Plan, lead, and follow up on work in the group – both daily and long-term Create schedules and resource estimates, and follow up on time, quality, and cost Take overall responsibility for the workshop section, including staffing, equipment, organization, safety, and ongoing operations Manage budget, personnel, and workplace environment responsibilities within your area Ensure high quality in our work and drive continuous improvements Promote sustainable workload and a safe, pleasant working environment Be a source of inspiration and support the team's continuous competence development The work is characterized by high pace, great variety, and short decision paths – you quickly see the results of your and the team's work.
