We are now recruiting a Supervisor for our cinema in Gränbystaden in Uppsala – an important leadership role for you who thrive best when you're close to operations, leading others and creating a truly great experience for our guests. As a Supervisor, you are part of daily operations and work side by side with our staff on the floor. You are the one who creates structure, energy and direction during your shift and ensures that both guests and employees have the best conditions. This is a role for you who enjoys leading by example. Your Role As a Supervisor, you report to the cinema manager and floor manager and together with them are responsible for daily operations and the overall guest experience. You are an important link between management and staff and have particular responsibility for operations running smoothly even when they are not on site. You have no formal personnel responsibility, but you lead and coach employees in daily work. Your main areas of responsibility are to: Lead, motivate and coach the team during daily work. Be a clear role model and create energy, engagement and good atmosphere in the team. Ensure the highest possible level of customer service and guest interaction. Work actively with sales and coach staff toward our sales goals. Ensure that our kiosk and concession areas are well-stocked, sales-oriented and maintain high standards. Implement and follow up on sales campaigns and other sales activities. Participate in ticket, snack, beverage and alcohol sales and be part of the team yourself. Ensure the cinema is clean, well-maintained and maintains the high visual standard we want to offer our guests. Participate in merchandise handling, orders, deliveries and inventory. Help develop our bistro concept with food and alcohol. Introduce and train new employees and follow up on their development. Participate in planning and execution of events, premieres and other activities. Contribute to developing working methods, routines and best practices together with colleagues. Take responsibility for resolving situations that arise during your shift and ensure that the guest experience always comes first. We are looking for you who Above all, you are a natural leader. Are solution-oriented and stay calm even when there's a lot to do. Have a natural customer focus and understand what creates a truly great guest experience. Are motivated by sales and enjoy working toward goals and results. Are organized and take responsibility for getting things done. Are unpretentious and enjoy working operationally alongside the team. Have good situational awareness and can quickly prioritize when circumstances change. If you have previous experience in supervisory or other leadership roles, that is a merit. But this can also be the next step for you if you are ready to take your first major leadership responsibility. Experience from, for example, cinema, fast food, hotel, restaurant, visitor industry or other service and sales operations is a merit. A Role Close to Operations The position is at 85% and is practical and operationally focused. You will be part of the cinema's work schedule and spend most of your workday on the floor with the team. The cinema's operations are most intensive in the evenings and on weekends. You therefore need to be comfortable with varying working hours and working both weekdays, evenings and weekends.
