Your Responsibilities As a work team leader, you are responsible for participants in labor market initiatives. Your main duties include individual and group coaching. You will conduct regular follow-up conversations and provide daily motivation and guidance in work activities. You will also collaborate with other actors within the municipality as you work together with individuals on their development. As a work team leader in the introductory team, you are one of several leaders that participants first encounter when they begin work-like activities in a labor market initiative. The introductory team offers participants and OSA employees work-like activities consisting of NTA (Nature, Technology for All), where you as a leader provide guidance and ensure delivery to clients. The target group often has significant need for coaching. This can include people who face challenges with the Swedish language and/or neurodevelopmental variations who need more time to be introduced to a labor market initiative. In this role, you alternate between theory and practice to promote progression toward work or studies. You will also have close collaboration with other professionals in the department, such as occupational therapists. The position also includes billing, documentation, and follow-up meetings with partner organizations. Your Workplace The Integration and Labor Market Administration has approximately 350 employees in the Working Life and Support Department (ALF) and the Labor Market Initiatives Department (AMI). We strengthen opportunities for Linköping residents who depend on financial assistance to become self-supporting and independent. Our main mission is to work on developing participants/employees who are in labor market initiatives. The ultimate goal for them is to progress toward studies and/or work with or without support in the regular labor market. Unit Production has several activities serving people in labor market initiatives, and we are now recruiting a work team leader for the introductory team. The workplace is located at Dvärggatan 4 in Tornby with daytime hours Monday-Friday; flexible working hours apply. You will work from the Tornby offices. About You We seek someone with a completed upper secondary education. We consider it meritorious if you have a YH (Vocational University) or higher education degree in pedagogy, social work, behavioral science, or relevant work experience that the employer considers equivalent. You need previous experience coaching and guiding people in need of extra support and experience with pedagogical work or similar work that the employer considers equivalent. If you have previous experience with MI (Motivational Interviewing) and/or low-affect communication, we consider that meritorious. We also value experience working with diverse people and experience documenting others' progression. Since the work involves internal and external contacts and documentation, we require good Swedish language skills, both written and spoken. Given that documentation is a significant part of the work, we require strong computer skills. The work requires travel within Linköping Municipality, so we require a valid Class B driver's license.
