We're looking for an engaged and confident work supervisor for a group home under LSS in Hägersten-Älvsjö. The facility is home to six adults with varying support and care needs. The target group includes people with neuropsychiatric and intellectual disabilities, and the operations also address needs related to aging and dementia. As a work supervisor, you'll have an important role in creating conditions for residents to receive safe, high-quality, and person-centered support in their daily lives. Your roleAs a work supervisor, you're a key person in the operations and function as an extension of the unit manager. The role combines work supervision and administration with active participation in daily work. The position consists of approximately 20 percent work supervision and administration and 80 percent operational work. The distribution may vary, but the proportion of work supervision and administration is never less than 20 percent. Your responsibilities include: leading and distributing daily work supporting staff in work methods and routines contributing to creating structure, quality, and alignment in the operations ensuring that residents' needs and implementation plans are central working with staffing matters and short-term planning handling administrative tasks such as ordering, schedule-related matters, and documentation for payroll processing monitoring routines, documentation, and quality work. You'll be joining an operation with a clear focus on development. The work team consists of staff with varying experience and expertise, which requires present, clear, and motivating supervision. An important part of the role is creating alignment around work methods, strengthening participation, and contributing to a culture where staff collectively take responsibility for the operation's development. To succeed in the role, you need to be comfortable translating goals into practical work, creating engagement in others, and helping the team maintain focus on what matters most: ensuring residents receive professional, equal, and high-quality support. Your competence and experienceWe're looking for someone with: high school education from a healthcare and care program, childhood and recreation program, or other education that the employer considers equivalent documented experience with work supervision in LSS operations experience working in a group home under LSS good administrative skills good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. It's advantageous if you have: training in neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF), intellectual disabilities, or dementia knowledge of work methods and cognitive aids within LSS experience with Stockholm City's operational systems such as Paraplyet, Lisa, Medvind, and Agresso. Since the operation is in a development phase, we're looking for someone who is persistent, maintains focus on the assignment, and is motivated to work long-term toward shared goals.OtherWork hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekends.Full-time corresponds on average to 37 hours per week. The position operates on a rotating schedule where hours per week vary.This is a permanent position with start date by agreement. Work in the operations requires a criminal records extract.
