Do you want to contribute to realizing children's rights by operationally leading and directing daily work in product preparation and retail? Then this role is for you. Erikshjälpen is now seeking a Store Manager for the store in Norrköping. We warmly welcome your application!
As a store manager, you play a central role in achieving the store's established goals: our surplus target, our social goal, and our environmental goal. You work operatively; leading and participating in daily work with a particular focus on product preparation; that is, "the gift's journey" through receiving, sorting, valuation, price marking, and finishing for sale.
No two days are the same, and as a store manager you need to be flexible and appreciate varied work.
Job Responsibilities
Examples of job responsibilities:
As part of the management team, participate in and lead daily work with store employees, focusing on product preparation.
You serve as a supervisor for employees, volunteers, and individuals participating in work trials, activities, or other employment arranged through government agencies.
You share responsibility with the management team for preparing received donations and, to some extent, sales and merchandise display in the store.
Jointly manage the store during opening hours, with additional store responsibilities on certain evenings and weekends.
You report to the Operations Manager.
Qualifications
We want you to have:
post-secondary education, preferably in sales/retail, leadership/behavioral science, or social work, or alternatively education/work experience deemed equivalent.
relevant experience in store management/leadership.
experience with retail or warehouse work, preferably in retail.
interest in reuse/second hand.
