About Samhall
Samhall exists to create a more inclusive labor market where everyone is seen as an asset. Our mission is to create meaningful jobs for people with disabilities. Each year, approximately 2,000 people are referred to us from the Swedish Public Employment Service, and what we do is offer them a stable platform to stand on and the opportunity to practice their abilities and develop their skills. Our most important goal is for 1,500 people each year to leave us for employment outside of Samhall.
Regardless of where you work in our organization, our mission and our goals are always present. The conviction that all people have competence is a compass and a driving force for all of us. We believe that you, reading this, feel just as strongly about it as we do.
We are 24,000 employees, of which approximately 1,500 are managers and specialists, with operations throughout the country. Together, we work toward a more inclusive labor market that benefits individuals, organizations, and society at large.
Welcome to Samhall!
The Role of Work Supervisor
As a work supervisor, you lead employees in daily operations and, in close collaboration with District Managers, support our employees in discovering and developing their skills so they can eventually leave Samhall for another employer. You do this best by getting to know your employees and working closely with them in their daily work.
In your daily work, you ensure that everything functions as it should to create the best possible conditions for our employees to develop and for our customers to be satisfied. You report to the Operations Manager for your location.
What do we offer you?
Here you develop as a leader regardless of previous experience and also build specific knowledge in several areas, including leading people with disabilities.
Here you have a national network while locally you are part of a district where you have your closest colleagues and report to an operations manager. You also collaborate with various support functions locally and centrally. Samhall is in an important and exciting period of development where your perspectives are valued.
What do you bring to the role?
As a work supervisor, you are operational, present, and see what needs to be done. Having experience from and enjoying working in an operation characterized by high pace and with people at the center is a requirement.
To succeed in the role, you need to have:
Experience in a supervisory function
Experience in facility cleaning/maintenance
High school diploma
Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing
Class B driver's license
As more and more of our customers require security clearance, you need to be approved in a security check to be eligible for employment.
Beyond solid knowledge, it is our values that make our leaders thrive and do good work over time. Your belief in the equal worth of all people, that all people have competence, and that the work has great significance is what motivates in everyday work.
