About the Position We are now seeking a Terminal Supervisor for Nurminen Logistics at the terminal in Frövi. In this role, your main responsibility is to lead and distribute the daily work at the terminal, while also working operatively alongside the team when needed. You will be a key person in the operation, ensuring that daily work flows efficiently and safely. The role involves close collaboration with terminal staff where you plan, prioritize, and support practical work as needed. The operation is connected to railway logistics, which means the work sometimes requires flexibility – trains can be delayed and planning may need to be adjusted during the day. Your main tasks include: • Leading and distributing daily work for terminal staff • Ensuring cargo is handled efficiently and in accordance with safety procedures • Supporting operational work such as loading, unloading, and forklift operation when needed • Ensuring that workplace environment and safety procedures are followed • Close collaboration with transport management and other functions in the operation Your Profile We are looking for a clear and responsible leader with experience from terminal, warehouse, or logistics operations. You thrive in a role where you both lead the work and are actively involved in the operation. We are looking for someone who has: • Experience in supervisory roles within terminal, warehouse, or logistics • Forklift certification and experience operating counterbalance forklifts • Experience in cargo securing • Strong ability to work in a structured and solution-oriented manner • Category B driver's license It is advantageous if you have: • Experience with container stuffing • Experience loading railway wagons • Experience handling various types of cargo, including hazardous materials Other Information Scope: Full-time Working Hours: Daytime initially, but the operation has plans to transition to two-shift operation, which means you need to be prepared for shift work in the future.
